Exploding Box Card Tutorial 2: Making the base & cover

Saturday, 19 September 2015

The long awaited Tutorial 2 on how to make a basic box card a.k.a exploding box card is here!
In order to let your creative juices flow, becoming familiarised with making the base is the foundation to better creations!

Box cards can be a very unique gift that will surprise one with such heartwarming intentions. With the image of a box, gift receivers of such cards are usually "tricked" by the exterior.

"Oh, what's inside?" They may ask.

Little did they know that inside the "box", more meaningful gifts were contained.

Things like photos, messages, albums and even fake cakes made out of Cardboard/Styrofoam, can be very sincere gifts that would fill one with loads of warmth...
Just few of the many reasons to make box cards!

Remember, the papers should not be too flimsy, they should be hard or thick enough to make a box.
