Plaza Singapura SaSa Cosmetics SG - Customer Service

Saturday, 27 June 2015

I believe most girls know this cosmetics shop called "Sasa" - but not me. It must have been too insignificant for me to take notice back then despite passing by the different outlets a few times.

While my memory is still fresh, I would like to share with you my shopping experience at Plaza Sing's Sasa - a great one with a commendable service - so great I have to post it up.

Last Saturday, it was actually my first time stepping foot into this store. I meant to get some art materials that day at plaza sing, but at the same time I was looking for a product at Sasa which I've chanced upon online. Since I was there, I decided to replenish my skincare products at home as they were fully used up.

With the intention to change my whole skincare routine and try something new, I ended up browsing through all the products there for a couple of hours - which I am glad I did.

I was approached by one of the sales staff there, named Marcus. Friendly and helpful, he patiently gave me tons of suggestions and tips on the products there. He probably noticed how I was facing difficulties making decisions (and perhaps calculating the total amount the things in my basket would sum to), that he checked back on me occasionally. Of course, he then kindly gave me good advices on the comparison of brands to help ease my dilemma.

Well.. Seems pretty normal for a service provided right? Nope. After what I believe about close to an hour - i'm not so sure - he actually asked me if I wanted some water. I was surprised at his offer, but I (gratefully) said no since I did not want to trouble him. That gesture although small, definitely left a huge impression on me. Are there really other stores or sales staff who would offer you water while you are in the shop....? I really dont know. Whatever it is, I give it a thumbs up, it was really welcoming.

The 2 hours had no feelings of awkwardness like how you'll usually have when you feel that you have stayed in a shop for too long and all eyes of the staff are on you. However, Marcus kept assuring me that it is alright to take my time, and so I did.

One kind gesture Marcus gave me was this :
I was troubled whether to get an eye cream on top of my eye essence because it would be way over my budget then. That was when Marcus told me not to get and that he'd give me free samples. Not just eye cream... He even gave me other free samples because he saw how much I am spending. (too kind of him!!!)

Through out my whole stay at the store he was trying his best to help me save (some) money by offering me various options and cheaper ways to purchase what I needed. Before I left, Marcus even gave me a namecard with his details on it, so that I can ring up to ask about any (forgotten) or uncertain procedures I may have regarding the usage of the products.

My total bill amounted to a pretty huge figure though, but so far I am seeing some good improvements on my skin. (I'll blog about the products after sometime of usage to make sure)

I've to say that this was one of my BEST shopping experience ever.

Marcus was very genuine in helping his customers. He does not take advantage of your lack of knowledge in the products and "cheat" your money. (Meaning to make you spend alot more money)

Him being a sales staff who is so friendly, thoughtful and kind, I just want to say that the very-patient customer service he provided left a great impression on me. Sure, you can actually tell that he is passionate in carrying out his tasks too! I was able to hold a casual conversation with him as well, how great!! (Unlike the other sales staff who were very different and (somewhat unfriendly) to the customers in the store.)

Nevertheless, it feels really heartwarming to have met someone like this at the store, especially when it was my first time at Sasa. Instead of how typically we all wish that sales staff would leave us alone, I am very glad that Marcus approached me and gave me a better shopping experience at Sasa.

I will definitely continue to patronise this Sasa outlet at Plaza Singapura in the future as long as he is still working there.

Sasa Cosmetics at Plaza Sing is located on the 2nd floor, perhaps you can try your luck for a good shopping experience too!

Are you looking for some cosmetics and skincare products?

Why not head down to SaSa? They are having the Great Singapore Sale up to 50% off which ends on 26th July,  so don't miss this chance!!!
