Hey good evening everyone!!! Since I'm free now I'll just blog a post while I lie comfortably on my bed. (yes i'm actually lying down, somehow. Bad for my eyes I know but I'm overly exhausted these few days)
What am I going to blog about today? Let's say I'm just going to talk about my handmade gifts! To start it off.. Let me begin with the gift I made for Shers recently, you know, Sherilyn Chua. :) You have no idea how thankful I am to have met her because... Well words can't even describe her because she's such an angel but yes you know what I mean.
So here's what I made for Shers as a really super belated birthday gift, but you may just take it as I made it out to show my appreciation towards her. It took me 1 to 2 weeks to complete it by staying up late everyday and spending a few full days on it. I'm glad I was pretty motivated by the thought of her being happy when she sees the final product because to be honest, I was so tired and there were repeated processes which bored me out. But neither did I feel like giving up because of that. What a happy process :)

The really long long letter to Shers

Probably one of the most unique and interesting gift I've made because there are various things inside. Like the long scroll, hahaha.

Hehe I love you Shers

A couple of photos she took for me, and I love these two photos so much!!!

Look at my face it, it looks so chubby but its ok HAHAHA
Don't you agree that handmade gifts are really sincere? I feel that they are the best kinds of gifts I can ever give to someone, especially people who mean so much to me. I have been starting on handicrafts since sec 2 and I'm really a lover of art & design. Making them makes me so happy because I look forward to the reaction of the recipients:') Nothing's more worth than seeing the recipients' smiles!
On a side note, I've always wanted to start an online store of my own to sell my own handmade items. This passion and one out of many dreams of mine grew stronger these 2 years and guess what? Today I finally took the first step by creating an Instagram Account to "showcase" my handicrafts. It's something similar to publicising, making them more well-known and looking at the responses first. Till the day the I pick up the courage to commit to an online store, I shall continue to post photos of my handicrafts there. :) Hopefully it will be a dream come true within the next 1 - 2 years.
Feel free to visit and follow the account by the name of @embrayce.crafts, and @emBRAYceCrafts on Twitter. #emBRAYcecrafts to see my photos on instagram!
emBRAYce Crafts has the same meaning as "embracing crafts". The reason for "BRAY" is because "Bray" is what most of my friends call me as a nickname in short for "Brasel". I love to have things different from others, and a more personalised thing be it name or any other items, therefore I decided to call it "emBRAYce Crafts".
Oh and here's a few photos of what I did for Mindy's 18th birthday surprise a couple of weeks ago.

The scroll is at least 2m long. Hehehe.
Took me some time to complete it too and I'm glad it succeeded.
And before I end off, here's a full video of the gift I made for shers. :)
No sound because the audio track.. :(
Goodnight people!
Oh ya look at how many times shers called me "Beat" today.

My name typos by people are always "beat" or "Barrel". Just beat the barrel guys. :( HAHAHAHA.
Alright bye!
